WDH-Clearance?

Strange question...I have a 2007 toyota 4 runner with a v6. I also a evolution e1. I have been reading many posts on the WDH issue. From what I have gathered and read; a WDH would be a good investment. Right???
However, I was wondering if anyone has had any clearance issues with the added hardwarde dropping below the trailer???
Any insights and information would be much appreciated!
Thanks again,
Mike

Honda Gen. 2000i

Well, I have been thinking solar and then saw a Honda 2000i generator. Seems like a nice, little unit. Anyone out there have feedback on the use of this generator? It looks like a nice, quiet option for camping without hookups.
Thanks much,
Mike

Solar Panel Help

Hello! I have been trying to research solar panels for boondocking. There seems to be a lot of good information and posts. However, just got a little confused.
I have purchased an E1 and got the two 6v batteries. So, I was wondering how much Solar Panel power will I need to keep those batteries charged? Most of my camping is in the desert, so sun shouldn't be a problem. Just want to keep the lights and accessories on...How much wattage do I need? I usually camp at a lenght of 3-6 nights. Other thoughts and advice?
Thanks much,
Mike

RE: Trip across US

Drive from Provo to southern Utah. The weather has been perfect! Check out any of the national parks...arches and canyonlands are close to moab...might a nice spot to take a cruise on the harley...a very scenic drive would be camping at Goblin Valley state park and head south on hwy. 24 and then on hwy. 95 to Lake Powell! That drive on a harley would truly be magical!

RE: Dealerships in SLC, UT

Ron,
Funny...I am a school teacher! Good call...It is great! Camping doesn't cost a lot of money but one needs the time to do it. Yes, we have a little time...Our record is 120 nights in a year. We will see what happens with a popup. We are used to backpacking and tent camping, so the popup will be a change.
You got a love Utah for camping! We are trying to outfit the popup for camping outside of a campground. Not a campground fan...And, there are plenty of wide open spaces in Utah!

RE: Dealerships in SLC, UT

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and advice. Looking forward to getting out with a new E1 model soon. My wife and I had 60 nights in a tent camping last summer, so this summer will definitely be a more comfortable change!

Dealerships in SLC, UT

Greetings...I am looking at the new Fleetwood Line. I have found two dealers in the general area of Salt Lake City. Motorsportsland and Sam T. Evans in Ogden. Can anyone out there give me some feedback on these two dealerships? Thanks for your time and efforts.

RE: E1 Modifications

Ron,
Thanks for your insights. Have you been happy with Motor Sportsland? Thinking of purchasing from the same place. Thanks for the battery idea...My wife and I don't do campgrouds, so that would be very benefical. This trailer seems like it would be a good one for camping in the middle of nowhere. We are thinking about solar panels too.
Thanks again, Mike
PS What do you pull it with? Any feedback on that?

E1 Modifications

Looking at buying a 2008 E1. Wanted to hear what modifications have been done or recommended...I would like to put some kind of skid plate on the bottom to protect the water tank, and I am sure there are others too. Pics would be awesome too! Thanks for your thoughts.

Fleetwood Evolution E1 Price

Greetings...I am new to the forum but have enjoyed reading the posts and all the insights/information shared. I am in the process of looking to buy a Fleetwood E1. Can anyone tell me how RV pricing works? I have no sense of what is a good price, etc. I have tried a little research but with not much luck. I have been quoted a price of $11,500 of a new 2008. Not sure if that is reasonable or not...Any websites out there that show one the true markup of these trailers?
Thanks much, Mike
